Day 13 & 14 Mon & Tues July 12th & 13th: Las Vegas, NV to San Diego, CA

After our Hepatitis B/C shots, we left the Vegas pressure cooker of indulgence, hookers, and heat (114 F). We trekked forward into the desert wasteland that is the 200-mile radius around Sin City. Not really a whole of a lot to talk about, except that there are NO trees in Joshua Tree. A bit deceiving, a Greenland kind of scheme if you ask me; We did see a road runner though, meep meep. Camping in this natural oven wasn’t that appealing at the time, so we carried on to Riverside and scored a room. When we finally got to San Diego, we rode around Coronado for a bit leaving just in time to hit the relaxing experience of rush hour traffic. Omar and Laura treated us to some sushi and frozen yogurt, which tasted something like heaven.

the beach is thatta-way

the only trees in Joshua Tree were yucas- no shade provided
